Mission Statement
Urban Scholars Community School is committed to providing an education of excellence that meets the needs of a diverse community of learners. All students will be supported and challenged to achieve their potential; through hard work, collaboration and determination. Our curriculum emphasizes the development of strong literacy and numeracy skills and world knowledge needed to succeed as students and citizens of a global society.
Vision Statement
Urban Scholars Community School's vision is to provide the opportunity for our students to grow academically, socially and culturally. Our students will be empowered to embrace the opportunities and challenges that they will face in everyday life. They will appreciate the contributions and worth of other cultures. They will be problem solvers, life-long learners and have an on-going passion for learning. Our students will have opportunities to use technology in their everyday lives, increasing their abilities to express themselves through written and oral communication.
