Parent Power

At P.S. 463, you aren’t just a parent—you’re a partner.

We believe that when our families thrive, our students soar. That’s why we host a rotating calendar of events every single month to support your health, your home, and your heart.

Essential Support & Wellness

  • Kiwi’s Kitchen: Our on-site school pantry is here to provide groceries and essential supplies for your family.

  • WITS Cooking Classes: Join Chef Camillo from Wellness in the Schools each month for healthy, hands-on cooking sessions.

  • Health & Energy: Get moving with Zumba for Health or join our wellness workshops with BronxCare.

Skills, Advocacy & Growth

We offer expert-led workshops tailored to the real needs of our community:

  • Student Support: Specialized sessions for parents of students with Autism and supporting your child at home.

  • Future Planning: Financial literacy with Chase Bank and Voting Workshops to keep your voice heard.

  • Creative Connection: Bond with your child during Parents as Arts Partners, or get creative in our Jewelry Making workshops.

Your Voice Matters

Stop by for Coffee and Conversations with Principal Jones. We are here to listen, support, and grow together. Join us! There is something new happening every month. Check the school calendar for our next event.
